Hi.. Once again, i am here to update my blog after an extremely long period of time. After pondering over wat topic to talk about, i think i will pick the most challenging and most mysterious topic of all: G-I-R-L-S. for those of u who can't read words with dashes in btw, the topic is girls. But before i start, all pro girls or non-sexist, it would be advisable if u leave this blog rite this instance.. coz i do not wish to have people carrying knives and runnig after me along streets. i still prefer a low profile kinda life. ok.. i shall start by saying that, girls are very complex. They are the most mysterious creatures in the entire world. till today, even with all the brains of past nobel prize winners put together, cannot understand a girl. cool huh? therefore, i am not stupid enough to attempt. let me give an example: Girls have such irregular mood swings(nothing to do with pms), that u can never predict their mood. They can be laughing at the most un funny joke u juz said, and suddenly in the next moment, they might be screaming at u for not noticing their new hair cut. yup.. it is that bad. Girls, admit it.. no matter how unwilling, u have to admit it is true. at this point, girls will say, "guys are juz too stupid to understand us." ya rite.. tell u wat, nowadays, even girls can't understand girls. So who is the stupid one here? ok.. for the sake of my life, i shall stop here. Maybe i can start a part 2 next time... :)
Child "Franky"?
Hi.. it's me again.. once again, i am updating my blog after dunno how long. it's been a busy week for me and the internet connection in my house went berserk. anyway, i juz wan to share wif everyone out there an incident which i saw a couple of days ago. it involves two boys, around the age of 12 at most. let's call them A and B. it started like this. A tried to stop B from boarding a bus by tugging at his bag. When the bus left the stop, B was very angry with A. Putting his bag down, he took out his plastic water bottle, like those 500ml mineral water bottle u see in the mart everyday, and began attacking A. He whack A repeatedly with his water bottle with a look of malice on his face. A was shouting out in pain. At first, i thought they were only fooling around. After a couple of minutes, A was shouting for help at nearby public. sensing something is wrong, i yelled at B. He looked at me and finally stopped. The point of this incident is not to show off my heroics on stopping a 12 yr old kid from finishing off his fren. There is nothing much to show off about given the fact that he is 12 and at most 1.5m and i was 17 around 1.7 and can kick him down a drain easily. no, that's not my point. Actually, a number of things can be seen from this incident.
1)Fun or Un-fun? I'm sure it is fun to push ur frenz around especially if they are smaller than u. However, is it really necessary to beat up a fren juz becoz he stops u from boarding a bus. Many of u out there may think that it is A's fault at first for stopping B from boarding the bus. Although i may not know wat is happening exactly and B might be in a rush to go somewhere, but that doesn't give him the need to whack his fren. Furthermore, whacking with such anger doesn't seems to correspond with the everyone's image of a innocent and sweet kid. it kinda remind of Frankestein. not as violent, but the potential is there. if that bottle was a knife, it wud have been a murder.
2) Ignorant public? When A was seeking help form nearby people at the bus stop, no one attempted to help. Why? is it very normal to see 12 yr old kids beating up people in public? Mind u, the society i am living in is suppose to be a cultured society where the citizens are suppose to be safe no matter during which part of the day. and i am quite sure the governement said something about the citizens have to play a part in ensuring safety. I dun think everyone caught that point..
"Who to blame?" some of u may ask. Gd question, i wonder myself. the government? The media? the society? Me? God? who? i can only think of one answer: the kids themselves. or in fact, everyone. no one is born perfect, in everyone of us, there is defintiely an evil side of us. U can delete it from ur system like how u delete mistakes in an assignment, it is juz there. U can minimise it, but not remove it. therefore, the basics of evil is in everyone of us. the media, the public etc juz helps to "nuture" it. Even a baby displays violence, dun believe? So u all thinks throwing tantrums are cute? when an adult throws a tantrum, it cud be taking a gun and shoot the first person he sees on the road.
Therefore, think about this...
